Class Breitz-Cortiñas – CBC, not a corporate identity

We are a class, coming from different backgrounds and living realities. Exploring visibility, body politics, colonial history as well as neo-colonial present, we are reflecting on what needs to be changed. We consider the connections between the micro- and the macrocosm, between the political and the private, between our own privileges and discrimination. We work with subjective changing approaches , developing forms of media and various viewpoints. We search for our own languages, sometimes questioning whether we have anything to say at all. We are upbeat and uncomfortable, sensitive and loud, indecisive and quiet, diverse and critical, thinking and feeling, split and misunderstood. Above all, we are never the same. Everybody aims to leave a mark on our community. Growing together, at times we have to say farewell to our fellow friends and classmates as they reach a new phase of life, thus we could never be one verb, adjective or (pro) noun.
