Takashi Kunimoto started this series after his father was diagnosed with six months to live. His initial goal was to record the grandfather’s voice for his children but the focus shifted to his own relationship with his father. Documenting family memories during the final days of his father develops into preparation for his passing. Awareness of death is an opportunity to reconsider the beauty of life.
